Although your images were not allowed, two things spring to mind as very plausible potential problems: - need to scale standard heights and alignment zones (a.k.a. “blue zones”) with the font rescale…1 -

AFAIK, there is no terribly direct ancestor for either PT Serif or PT Sans. Certainly there are typefaces with similarities, but both were conceived as new typefaces, not direct reworkings of anythin…2
